Standard Skates

Product Description:

1. They are cut wider to accommodate a range of differences in width and can simply be tied tighter across the ball of the foot area with the top to bottom lacing for those with a narrow foot.

2. There is also additional padding in the Achilles tendon area to keep the foot snug in the bottom and comfortable.

3. All our models are made of top grain leather and have a break in period where the leather molds to the individual foot. They feel quite stiff when put on new, which attests to their proper support, for the functionality of supporting the foot of the skater and their durability over time. As they break in to the individual they become more and more comfortable.

Sizing

These skates are cut to a men’s size so boys and men give us their regular shoe size and women’s run 1-3 sizes smaller than their normal shoe size. Sizes range from child 6 to adult 13.

Sizing & Measuring Instructions

Step #1: Photograph the participant’s feet

Stand bare-foot on a different colored background for contrast. Be sure to get a photo of the front, back and sides to show the arch or lack of arch of the foot. Include a picture up to the thighs showing the angle of the leg going down to the foot.

Examples of photographs needed:

Step #2: Draw the participant’s feet

Draw a foot pattern of each foot by holding the pen or pencil upright to go around the outside of the foot. Measure the foot with a ruler and mark next to the drawing. Please take a picture of the drawing with a ruler next to it. This ensures the measurements are accurate as scanned/faxed items can become distorted in size.
